Meltos (Clenbuterol)

Meltos (Clenbuterol) is not an anabolic steroid. It is a stimulant from a group of compounds called sympathomimetics. Clenbuterol was first made as a medical drug to help people with asthma. It works by opening the airways in the lungs, nose, and throat, making breathing easier.

In bodybuilding and fitness, clenbuterol is mostly used during cutting and fat-loss phases. It works by attaching to beta-2 receptors on fat cells and triggering fat breakdown. This process helps the body use stored fat for energy.

One important thing to know is that clenbuterol loses effectiveness when used continuously. The body quickly reduces the number of beta-2 receptors, which slows fat loss and can stop it completely. This can be managed in two ways:
• taking a break from clenbuterol for about two weeks
• using ketotifen, which helps restore beta-2 receptor activity

Clenbuterol does not affect hormones and does not cause steroid-related side effects. Its side effects are typical of stimulants. The most common issue is muscle cramping, which happens because clenbuterol lowers taurine levels in the body. Taurine, along with minerals like potassium and magnesium, helps muscles relax properly. Taking 2.5–5 g of taurine daily can reduce cramps.

Clenbuterol can increase heart rate and blood pressure. Other common effects include shaking hands, trouble sleeping, sweating, and nausea.

For fat loss, male users usually stay within 120–160 mcg per day. The dose should be increased slowly. Most users begin with 20–40 mcg per day for the first few days, then raise the dose by small steps. There is no need to slowly lower the dose when stopping.

Clenbuterol stays active in the body for a long time, with a half-life of about 37 hours. Because of this, taking the full daily dose in the morning works best and helps reduce sleep problems.
